Open Minds: A Birla School, Danapur celebrated the 76th Independence Day with magnificence and grandeur at its premises on 15th August this year. The school campus was beautifully decorated with balloons and flowers of the tricolour.
The entire school campus echoed with patriotic songs that sprung feelings of pride and love for the nation.
The celebrations commenced with the hoisting of our National Flag by the honourable Principal of Open Minds: A Birla School, Mrs. Shovika Yadav & Vice Principal Mr. Paljinder Pal Singh . The unfurling of the flag was followed by a melodious singing of the National Anthem.
The show-stopper was the song “Ae watan watan mere abaad rahe tu” sung by Miss Anushia & her team, which held everyone spellbound with streaming eyes.
Mrs. Shovika Yadav congratulated everyone on this proud occasion. She motivated everyone to grow up as responsible and conscientious citizens of India so that its glory keeps soaring high.
Sweets & snacks were distributed to everyone present over there.
Like every year, we have conducted some extra activities, this year our school has organized Blood Donation Camp.
For a week before the camp, special efforts had been put to create the awareness about the camp. Teaching staff & Admin staff, both donated blood. Later our Vice Principal, presented the donors with certificates of appreciation.
